Sales Associate - Part-time Positions

OVERVIEW 

What We’re Looking For:

A detail-oriented, organized, and experienced sales associate with no problem juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. A person who enjoys educating customers and is knowledgeable about the agriculture industry. This role is a good fit for someone who is able to work independently, is adaptable, and has a can-do, get-it-done attitude.

Position is located in Kalispell Montana needs to be familiar with agriculture and customer service. Store hours are Monday - Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, closed Sunday. Part-time positions are available.

Start date is as soon as possible. There is more opportunity for the right person

Position Role:

This position’s primary focus is to work the sales floor at a farm-to-table retail store. This requires the ability to learn and retain information about key vendors and products, being willing to educate customers on agriculture practices, and working with others to keep the store running smoothly.

This role requires being available during key busy periods of the year, including some holiday weekends and evenings.

Skills & Abilities

  • Past experience as a sales associate

  • A strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities daily. Stock inventory, check out product, clean the sales floor, and speak with vendors. 

  • A positive attitude that focuses on solving problems instead of setbacks is essential. 

  • Highly organized and able to anticipate upcoming needs.

  • An interest in engaging with customers and contractors while communicating on Karoline or Grayson’s behalf and doing so with grace.

  • Detail focused--our pace is fast and we need someone that can help us keep track of details and anticipate needs.

  • Love agriculture! We pride ourselves in bringing together Montana Producers and local consumers for the sustainability of the ag industry. We need a team that is aligned in this mission with us.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the sales floor

  • Assisting customers with purchasing decisions

  • Upselling and having a conversation with customers about meat

  • Answering the phone and providing educational material when asked

  • Counting inventory on shelves and in storage

  • Communicating with vendors about inventory needs

The Rancher's Daughter is a farm-to-table retail store on Highway 206 in Kalispell, Montana and on 135 E Idaho Street. partnering with local agriculture producers to bring safe and diverse products to the Flathead Valley. We feel God has given us a platform to promote the sustainability of Montana farmers, ranchers, and makers for the next generation while providing the consumer with an option for education and local food products. We understand the value of varying operations and consumer choices. We will carry grain-fed, grass-fed, organic, conventional, and everything in between. We understand this choice is individual for consumers and all types of agriculture production help feed the world. Our sales staff will be trained to educate consumers on the safety and benefits of each sector of the ag industry.
